For many years Schæffergården has been the setting for the big day. No two parties are the same, and it is important for us that you get the day and party, you want.

Schæffergården is a historic and Nordic manor which is owned by the Foundation for Danish-Norwegian cooperation. The setting is unique with beautiful banquet rooms, Nordic art, furniture design and architecture and our kitchen is also inspired by Nordic traditions. The history contributes to the special atmosphere of the place and we are convinced that it is the one that gets our guests to feel at home.

Schæffergården has a variety of conference rooms and meeting facilities distributed in the historic hunting castle from 1755 in the Villa Helene, in the beautiful cozy patrician from 1830 and in the Agora wing at the reception. The facilities include Schæffergården, Restaurant Wohlert and Café Hammerich, and is surrounded by a 6-hectare park with its own lake.

The Foundation for Danish-Norwegian Cooperation is a bilateral fund - founded in 1946 as a result of Danish assistance to Norway during WW2. The foundation works to increase the understanding and cooperation between Denmark and Norway. All the revenues from Schæffergården are used to realize this purpose. This means among other things that the Foundation grants about 6000 scholarships a year for students in Denmark and Norway, corresponding to approximately 10 million kroner.
